Spy Valley Syrah 2009

Tasting Notes

Spy Valley Syrah 2009 - Paul Bourgeois

The Syrah is produced from our vines planted in the warmest part of our Waihopai Valley vineyard. This vineyard site features rocks, stones, boulders and gravel and we look forward to seeing the site expression evolve in the wines. The wine is aged for around 18 months in tight grained French oak barrels. This wine shows classic cool climate Syrah aromas  of white pepper and rich plummy fruit with a silken texture.
