Envoy Gewurztraminer 2011

Tasting Notes

Envoy Gewurztraminer 2011 - Paul Bourgeois

The Gewurztraminer grape has a great affinity for our site. Lower terrace 'G Block' is hard, stony ground, very free draining and a hard place to exist as a grape vine. G Block is small and contains at least five different clonal selections from France and Germany, and a similar number of root stock combinations. Each of these combinations adds a different flavour component and those selected for Envoy typically contain spice and weight.
