Grand Champion! Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2008!
Spy Valley 2008 Sauvignon Blanc was awarded GRAND CHAMPION at the Old Ebbitt Grill Wines for Oysters Competition 2009! Out of 253 wines from all over the world, our 2008 Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc was judged best wine to accompany freshly shucked oysters at The Old Ebbitt Grill in Washington DC. The top ten wines (the gold medal winners) will be served with over twenty types of oysters at the 15th Annual Old Ebbitt Grill Oyster Riot held on November 20 & 21, 2009; last year, over 61,000 oysters were consumed by almost 2000 guests.
