Some of the comments included:
"The venue is impressive and the cellar door service is good, so it raises the overall perception of Marlborough wine as a quality brand and Marlborough as a premier wine destination for tourists and locals."
"This was a very friendly, helpful, cheerful and informative visit. I felt most welcome to this cellar door. The staff member was very pleasant, had great eye contact, a great smile and and 'managed' an older woman (me) and a younger female customer with ease."
"This was a very pleasant experience and exceeded my expectations. The staff member was friendly, attentive and informative. She was certainly enthusiastic about the wines and spoke with passion about them."
"I liked the wines, the staff, the building and it was a pleasant drive to get there. I felt most welcomed to the cellar door."

Congratulations to the winner of the Habitat Enhancement award: for Brian and Ellen Plaisier and their children, conservation is not a weekend hobby but total immersion. The family runs the Tui Nature Reserve in outer Pelorus Sound, protecting native vegetation, controlling pests and breeding kakariki and geckos.
